Doug Graham, Creative Director The owner of Doug Graham & Associates and founder of marketsolve, Doug has an extensive history in writing, marketing, sales and service. With a degree in multi-media, Doug began in the publishing field with a Pittsburgh publisher. He quickly became the managing editor of an internationally-distributed monthly publication. He left that position to pursue a career performing stand up comedy, which he continues today after 12 years. During that time he continued working in the publishing field as a consultant and writer. His work has appeared in Smile magazine, The Comedy Magazine, and Advertising News among others. He also worked to market and sell advertising for a monthly trade publication, helping clients gear their marketing program to get maximum effect from their advertising dollar. He graduated from Marshall University with a BA in Management Information Systems. His work experience in the computer industry includes positions with Marshall University, the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, as a Network Technician on a contract for TAD Data Services with Westinghouse Corporation and the University of Pittsburgh as a Systems Analyst. He is pursuing his master's degree at Pitt. He currently works with Mellon Bank's Information Technology department. Ralph Roe, Marketing Director Following a 20-year career with the U.S. Navy, Ralph entered the civilian work force as an advertising designer for the W. T. Grant corporation. Ralph coordinated the work of several assistants, as well as creating his ideas for successful advertising campaigns. He later worked as a purveyor of motor cars and launched a career as a stand up comedian where he's known as "The Dare-Devil Impressionist." Ralph joined marketsolve, this summer and is helping the site gain greater visibility in the Pittsburgh area. He graduated from the Ivy School of Professional Art in 1973 and worked at some of Pittsburgh's best custom quality photo labs: The Darkroom, Filmet, F.L. Haus Company, GNVC Visual Communications, and Media 2. He also worked at Giant Eagle's film lab. He has received numerous awards for his photography, including recently making it into the top 5% toward the the final selection for the Photographer's Forum Magazine's The Best of Photography Annual 1997. Tom is a graduate of California University of Pennsylvania where he was granted a BA in Communications Studies (radio and television). He currently oversees more than 500 accounts as Projects Manager for Advertel, Inc., a Pittsburgh-based advertising agency specializing in telephone media. He was previously Editor of Griffin's Tri-State Food News, and served as a news editor, writer and reporter for KQV Radio. His nearly 20 year career in radio and print journalism includes work as a staff writer for Gateway Press, and a sportscaster, newscaster and commercial personality for (the former) WRML radio in Portage, Pa., and WANB Radio in Waynesburg, Pa. His work has appeared in more than a dozen publications, including Pittsburgh Tribune-Review, South Pittsburgh Reporter, The Patriot (Pittsburgh), Griffin Report on Food Marketing, and Hospital News (Pittsburgh). Tom is also a comedy writer and political pundit who, in the late '90s, covered several elections for the Drew Gordon morning show on WLSW-FM (Connellsville, Pa.). Tom is a board member for the Carrick Community Council, past President of the Carrick Business Association and former board member for the Brentwood-Baldwin-Whitehall Chamber of Commerce.
